Workshop Description
In this two and a half hour workshop, we will use slab techniques to create our own handmade soup spoons! Jess will guide you on creating the form of the soup spoon and go over tips on smoothing and refining. We will then decorate and paint the spoons with underglaze. Each participant will be provided with materials to make two soup spoons.
This workshop will be limited to ten students, ensuring that each participant gets ample individualized attention. No clay experience necessary.
What to Expect
All clay, underglazes, and tools will be provided. Glaze firing is included with a single layer of clear glaze. After your pieces are fired, which may take 3-5 weeks, an email will be sent out to arrange pickup.
Students will receive an email the week prior to the workshop with access instructions. Full refunds are available up to one week before the workshop.
