Bao and Dumpling Workshop (Feb 8)

Workshop Description

In this two and a half hour workshop, we will learn how to create our own bao and dumpling sculptures! We’ll talk about closed forms in clay and use pinching, shaping, and slab techniques to create the forms. You will also have the option to decorate the pieces with underglaze. By the end of the workshop, you should have a set of cute food sculptures ready to fire!

This workshop will be limited to ten students, ensuring that each participant gets ample individualized attention. No clay experience necessary.

What to Expect

All clay, underglazes, and tools will be provided. Glaze firing is included with a single layer of clear glaze. After your pieces are fired, which may take 3-5 weeks, an email will be sent out to arrange pickup.

Students will receive an email the week prior to the workshop with access instructions. Full refunds are available up to one week before the workshop.
